International
Day
| This year Shenandoah
University celebrated its 12th annual
International Day. This is a special day
during which the entire University
community unites to learn about other
cultures and to recognize our
international students. |
| At the
International Day Convocation Ceremony
Shenandoah students, faculty and staff,
who have made significant contributions
in the area of International education
and cross cultural relations, are
recognized for their achievements.
Individuals from outside the campus
community are also recognized for
outstanding global service and
accomplishments. This year, our honored
speaker was Ambassador Timothy Towell,
former ambassador to Paraguay. He spoke
about international service in a
complicated world.

studying business and mass communications. |
| For
dinner the Allen Dining Hall was
converted into a fine restaurant serving
food from around the world. The

helped the cafeteria staff prepare and
serve the food. |
