Professional Highlights

  • Jonathan's first book, "Get the Callback: The Art of Auditioning for Musical Theatre" was published in 2009 (Scarecrow Press) and continues to be one of the most widely used books on audition technique. He is currently working towards completion of a second book, "Act Like It's Your Business: Branding and Marketing Techniques for Actors." He is also co-authoring the book of a new musical which hopes to begin workshops in 2013.Jonathan's recent professional directing credits include "The Wedding Singer" and "Almost, Maine" (NCCA Papermill Theatre, NH) and "All Shook Up" (Millbrook Playhouse), all three of which featured students and alumni from Shenandoah's Musical Theatre Program.
