Programming

Media Production Services produces a mixture of information-based award-winning original programs that appear on cable access Channel 20 (Comcast) in Winchester and Frederick County, Va. The staff has received multiple awards for programming.

Regular SUTV Programs:

Crossroads: Highlights the creativity, diversity and innovation that is the Shenandoah Valley's premier institution of higher education, Shenandoah University.

For Your Information-FYI: Highlights the knowledge and expertise that exists within the SU community. Launched in 2008, FYI includes topics such as iPods & MP3's, influenza, weight loss, identity theft, credit scores, and more.

President's Perspective: A question-and answer segment featuring President Tracy Fitzsimmons.

Shenandoah Basketball: Features seasonal Coverage of the Hornet's Home conference basketball from Shingleton Gymnasium.

Shenandoah Football: Features seasonal coverage of Hornets football from Shentel Stadium in Winchester.

Spotlight: Features a variety of special guest lecturers from Shenandoah University's Center for Public Service and Scholarship, the Harry F. Byrd School of Business, and other special presentations of interest to the community at large.

SU Sports Minute: Features a five-minute weekly segment of Shenandoah athletics featuring host Scott Musa, assistant athletic director for athletic communications.

Special Programming: (includes but is not limited to): Shenandoah University graduation and special guests or events on campus. SUTV is the official producer of the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Television.
