Facilities

SU Television (SUTV) is housed in the Vickers Communications Center on the main campus in Winchester.

Shenandoah University dedicated the Vickers Communication Center on March 23, 2007 the home of SUTV and TV3 Winchester, an ABC-affiliate serving the region with local news, weather, sports and network programming.

The facility includes a state-of-the-art production studio and control room. Designed by architect David W. Ganse, AIA, of Winchester, the facility is an expansion of the previous building, enlarged to accommodate the ABC-affiliate TV3 Winchester. Included in the addition is a lobby, a classroom, two conference rooms and offices for SUTV staff and TV3 Winchester sales, editorial and production personnel. The facility totals 7,000 square feet, with the partners sharing the studio and control room. Each partner has its own editing areas and SUTV also sports an audio production studio and a Mac-based pro-tools editing suite.
