Academic Strategic Plan (PDF)
The Academic Cabinet, comprised of all academic program deans and directors, completed in 2004, a year-long strategic planning process to determine university-wide academic goals and objectives. These goals and objectives, outlined below, are outgrowths of the university's mission statement adopted in Fall 2003.
Every fall, each major academic unit uses the university-wide Academic Strategic Plan as a template to construct its unit-specific goals and objectives. The Academic Cabinet then assesses all plans, identifying points of possible collaboration across units as well as budget priorities. In 2006, the university's Long Range Plan was revised to incorporate the academic strategic plan.
