Academic Affairs

Adrienne BlossWelcome to Shenandoah University and the Office of Academic Affairs. As the Vice President for Academic Affairs, I am the chief academic officer responsible for ensuring that all students meet the academic requirements as articulated by the faculty and approved by the trustees. My office oversees all the academic schools and departments, the library, Institutional Research and Assessment, the Learning and Writing Centers, and the Registrar’s Office. I am also responsible for the implementation of the institution’s strategic plan.

Shenandoah University is a unique institution of higher learning because it combines the best integration between liberal arts and professional programs. In addition, Shenandoah University students enjoy a very low student-to-faculty ratio, allowing for the personalized attention that is so important to learning and development. Our faculty are internationally recognized as leaders in scholarship and creative performances and are dedicated to student success.

At Shenandoah, you will have the opportunity to study with world-class faculty and performers, see top-flight theatrical and musical performances, participate in global experience and community service programs, become actively involved in university life and the Winchester community, and regularly enjoy the Shenandoah River and Valley.

If you want an education that can truly be life changing, then make Shenandoah University your home.
