The Shenandoah University Factbook

Unless otherwise noted, all factbook documents are presented in PDF format.

The pages that follow are a collection of data that is frequently requested from and reported by the Office of Research, Planning and Institutional Effectiveness (ORPIE), both current and historical. This Factbook is an attempt to make this wealth of data more accessible to the university’s administrators, faculty, students (both current and prospective) as well as to the general public. We encourage you to use it as a resource to answer any questions or curiosities that you might have about Shenandoah University, but also as a means for institutional improvement.

Some data is static, other is dynamic. Because data shown in the Factbook is drawn from various sources and from different time periods, there may appear to be inconsistencies. These are not incorrect numbers. For example, the enrollment picture changes between October 1st and November 1st. Since the data shown in the enrollment section of this book is a collection of data from both dates, the data may not be exactly similar.

The Factbook is available in print form, distributed to administrative offices as well as posted on Shenandoah University’s main web page.
