 WELCOME COMMUNITY FRIENDS…

The Center for Lifelong Learning at Shenandoah University wants to welcome you to another exciting year of educational, thought provoking and fun classes to take this fall.  To name a few we have:

  • Current Events, a luncheon class with special guest speakers that you will have discussions with, enjoy a lunch and learn about the world around you. Lunch included with registration.
  • Learn about the Early Congregations of the 1700s, how they were formed and what impacts they still have today.
  • Digital Photography will take you places you would never think of gong at camera speeds faster than you know.
  • Join this beginner traditional American Sign Language class to know what it is like to communicate with your hands.
  • For all the food lovers out there, we have Celebrating with Food: Menus to Entertain By. You will learn the chef’s secrets, prepare special food, and then enjoy eating your creations with your classmates and friends.  All materials included with registrations.
  • New this year, we have Auto Harp for Beginners, taught by well-know artist Terry Tucker.
  • Special Downton Abbey’s Fashions and the history behind the creations. Special day trip and tea to consider!
  • Learn about all our United States Presidents and Their Wives, both good and bad.

We have these classes and many more planned for you to explore and enjoy this fall.  Join our August “Open House” and meet our new 2015 fall instructors and learn more about all our upcoming classes.  Information to our FREE “Open House” is below and bring a friend!

There are several way you can find the classes when you’re looking for through our  new 2015 Fall Catalog, (2) Use our on Use the ONLINE REGISTRATION (MAIN MENU) choose “Instant Enrollment” Enter Course Code “CONT” Submit, pick your class (3) Download our 2015 CLL Application Form above and mail it into the address on the back of the form, and (4) Call for personal help 540-665-5442  or 540-665-4696 and register over the phone.  It is easy and quick!
