It has been a busy semester and we know that not everyone has had time to attend Canvas training.

Beth is available all summer:
- Tuesday: 9:00 – 4:00
- Wednesday: 9:00 – 3:00
- Friday: 8:00 – 2:00 (Remote via Zoom Only)
She is also available to meet remotely at these times.
Course Design Academy 2016 – Aug 4 & 5
This is a two-day hands-on workshop. Mainly for new faculty, experienced faculty may want to join this CTL workshop as mentors or to revise their classes. This will be a practical workshop covering curriculum construction, “scaffolding” material, “flipped” classes, technology, and strategies to achieve deeper learning. Time for working on syllabi and course materials is scheduled.
Please bring your laptop.
Scheduled for Thursday and Friday, August 4 & 5 from 9 AM to 4 PM each day, Smith Library 318 (location is subject to change).
Attendance at both sessions is recommended but not mandatory. Lunch will be provided.

New Faculty Orientation
New full-time faculty should plan to attend orientation to be held August 12 in Henkel Hall (room tbd). The agenda includes senior staff introductions, science of teaching and learning, important technology information, welcome from the faculty senate, and much more.
