Ranking of the Candidates

Following interviews the SUPT Admissions Chairman generates a final, rank-ordered, listing of all traditional applicants. Those who meet or exceed the cut score pre-determined by the Admissions Committee are offered acceptance. If all of the seats are not filled, the committee will use the rank-ordered listing and any other supporting evidence to come to a consensus on a final list of those to offer acceptance.

The Admissions Committee also generates a rank-ordered list of the applicants for each of the institutions participating in an articulation agreement. The top four applicants from each school are offered acceptance, the remaining applicants are placed in the general applicant pool and ranked accordingly. If all of the seats are not filled through the articulation agreements they are made available to additional traditional applicants. All files are reviewed prior to formal acceptance in order to document outstanding prerequisites or other contingencies (e.g. conferring of bachelor's degree).
