Shenandoah freshmen have many academic resources to help them be successful. As a university, we are committed to helping students reach their full potential and experience positive learning outcomes.
The Integrated Mobile Learning Initiative, IM Learning: All freshmen are required to participate in IMLearning which includes a MacBook Pro and iPod Touch. Students and faculty are provided with the tools and unique technology programs that enhance classroom management and student engagement.
The Academic Enrichment Center, AEC: The AEC implements and coordinates peer tutoring programs, study skills development courses and workshops, services for students with disabilities, and academic counseling.
The Shenandoah University Writing Center: The mission of the Writing Center is one-to-one instruction in writing for all SU students. The conferences between students and the Writing Center staff, either face-to-face or online, work to enable students to learn productive habits in pre-writing, drafting, revising, and editing.
