Michael Hatfield '97,'02, director for alumni affairs and executive director of the Alumni Association
Mike heads the university’s expanding efforts to increase alumni communications, services and involvement. He has been a part of SU campus life – as a student and employee – for ten-plus years. Mike previously worked for the university’s Office of Admissions, where he moved up through the ranks from admissions counselor to assistant director and associate director of admissions to director of undergraduate admissions. He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from SU in business administration in 1997 and 2002.

Annie Mitchell, administrative assistant for development and alumni

Annie provides administrative support to development and alumni staff. Her roles in such projects as the phonathon, homecoming and Alumni Association activities have allowed her to cultivate close ties to SU’s alumni population. Kari Frazier, assistant director for alumni affairs
Kari brings 12-plus years of knowledge and experience in higher education to her position in alumni affairs. In her current role as assistant director, Kari focuses her support on the schools of health professions and pharmacy and heads up the Student & Young Alumni Associations. Frazier previously worked at the University of Vermont, where she was conference coordinator in Continuing Education and Conference & Event Services. She also held administrative positions at Carroll College (Wis.) and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Frazier earned her bachelor’s degree in sports management from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and continued graduate work at Mankato State (Minn.) University in sports administration. She is currently working on her masters of arts in education administration at Shenandoah University.

Christina J. Davis, administrative assistant for alumni
Christina is the newest member of the alumni affairs and development staff, on board since November 2006. She enjoys working with the Alumni Association and with staff on such projects as the Phonathon, Dayton Alumni Society Weekend and Homecoming. Christina lived in Germany for eight years and moved to Maryland in 2005 to study drafting design. She plans to continue her education at SU
