Strength and Conditioning
Shenandoah University's
Strength and Conditioning program is under the direction of Terrance
Brooks, NSCA-CSCS. Brooks, a four-time World and five-time National
Drug Free Powerlifting Champion, oversees a program that features a
2,000 square foot weight room in the Aikens Athletic Center and
state-of-the-art Hammer Strength equipment.
This past year, Jesse
Levenson '05 benefited from Brooks' tutelage to earn "All-American
Athlete of the Year" status from the National Strength and
Conditioning Association. Levenson, a member of the football team,
earned this All-America status after lifting over 1600 pounds at the
Hornets spring conditioning program and running a 4.5 40-yard dash.
