SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Shenandoah University men’s lacrosse team fell to 1-3 on the season Wednesday afternoon as Susquehanna University rallied to take a 9-7 victory.

Shenandoah held leads of 5-3 in the third and 7-6 in the fourth before Susquehanna (1-1) stormed back with three goals in the final 3:21 to steal the victory. The win over the Hornets is the first for Susquehanna in three lifetime meetings.

Sophomore Elmer Baker (Fort Montgomery, N.Y./O'Neill) led SU in the scoring column with four assists while senior Matt Burton (Ashburn, Va./Woodbridge) had two goals. Junior Chris Keller (Smithsburg, Md./Smithburg) moved into sole possession of second place on the all-time scoring list with his goal and two assists.

The men are now off for the next 10 days until they open Pennsylvania Athletic Conference play with a game at Neumann College on March 23.
