WINCHESTER, Va. - The men’s soccer team concluded its seven game season opening homestand Wednesday afternoon with a 6-0 shutout of Villa Julie College.

Shenandoah ( 3-3-1 ) scored all the goals it would need eight minutes into the contest when Will Scott (Chesapeake, Va./Great Bridge) converted from five yards out off of a feed from Luis Collantes (Alexandria, Va./TC Williams).

Coach Rob Kulton’s club would not stop following the Scott goal; Stefan Hasson (Herndon, Va./Oakton) added the next two tallies before James Jackson (Chesapeake, Va./Old Dominion) closed out the first half scoring with a penalty kick in the 44th minute.

Hasson and Scott led all scorers with four points each while Collantes had two assists.

All four SU keepers saw time in goal; freshman Chris Peter (Chantilly, Va./Northern Virginia CC) made a team high three saves in just under 20 minutes of action.

Villa Julie fell to 0-6-1 with the loss.
