– The women’s soccer team dropped its second decision of the week to
a higher division opponent as
Southern
Virginia
took a 3-0 decision at SU Soccer Field.
Southern
Virginia
(10-2) scored its first
goal just 28 seconds into the contest when Liz Bates ripped a shot into
the upper half of the net from 25 yards out. The Knights also added
goals in the 35th and 80th minutes.
Shenandoah
(1-10) received a career high 15 saves from keeper Dana D’Agostino (Wantage,
N.J./High Pointe Regional) in the losing effort.
