– The SU women’s basketball team won for the second straight time
Wednesday night as the Hornets defeated
Hood
College
59-42.
Showing
no signs of rust due to a 15 day layoff, Shenandoah (2-3) bolted out
to a 35-19 halftime lead against the Blazers (6-2). Junior Adina
Trammel (

,
Va.
/Loudoun
County) keyed this rally with 12 points and eight rebounds while
Rosaline Fisher (

Baldwin

In
the second half, SU continued to pressure the Blazers defensively by

The strong effort by the Hornets managed to frustrate Hood and
limited them to only 23 points in the half while the hosts coasted to

boards while Roberts had 13 and 12, respectively.
