It’s time to celebrate the global diversity of the Shenandoah University community at International Convocation held tomorrow, Nov. 14, beginning at 2 p.m. in the Brandt Student Center, Ferrari Room. The program includes live music, recognition of Shenandoah’s international students, Global Citizenship Project participants and study abroad students. Awards will be presented to individuals who have advanced international understanding in the community.

This year’s special guest is Trevor Patzer, co-founder and executive director of the Little Sisters Fund, a non-profit organization that provides long-term scholarships for economically disadvantaged girls in Asia. The 2013 Global Citizenship Project destinations will be announced, too. This is also a First-Year Seminar common event; 2 p.m. classes are cancelled. Questions?
