FIND GREAT GIFTS AT THE FIRST-EVER SHENANDOAH CHRISTMAS MARKET

Yes, Shenandoah, there is a Santa Claus and this week his shop is right inside the Brandt Student Center! The first-ever Shenandoah Christmas Market is fashioned after the traditional Christmas Markets in Germany that date to the late Middle Ages and are now found in cities around the world. Students who make art, baked goods, clothes, crafts, jewelry, music CDs and other cool stuff will be set up throughout this week – Monday, Nov. 26, through Friday, Nov. 30 – in the Brandt Student Center main hallway. Students will offer their products for sale, so you can find truly unique, affordable gift items without driving all over town. The Shenandoah Salvage Co. will offer its merchandise at the market, too, and all its items are free.

Student-vendors will sell their wares at different times, so stop by often or check the Student Life Facebook page for frequent updates. If you are a student with handmade products to sell, contact studentlife@su.edu for more Christmas Market details.
