TAKE TIME TODAY FOR SERVICE OF LIGHTS & CAROLING AT SARAH’S GLEN

After a long Thanksgiving weekend and a hectic day of catching up with work, the Office of Spiritual Life invites you to take 30 minutes today to surround yourself with peace, joy and music. The annual Service of Lights is from 5 to 5:30 p.m. in the Brandt Student Center rotunda. Gather around the Christmas tree for a brief reflection on the season presented in music and spoken word. Enjoy performances by the Shenandoah Singers, the Chimers, the Harambee gospel choir, the University Chapel Choir and members of Sigma Alpha Iota. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served, too. After the “Service of Lights,” you are invited to sing carols at the Sarah’s Glen pavilion, where the Office of Marketing & Communications will film the university’s holiday greeting card.
