SHENANDOAH SALVAGE CO. HAS MOVED; IT’S NOW CLOSED UNTIL JAN. 14

The Shenandoah Salvage Co. – a swap shop where everything is always free – has moved from the third floor of Cooley Hall to the second floor of Cooley Hall, Room 204. The shop is now closed for winter break, but will reopen on Monday, Jan. 14.

The Shenandoah Salvage Co. offers students and employees an incredible range of merchandise, including school supplies, office supplies, household items, clothes, jewelry and non-perishable food items. The shop does not accept large furniture, broken items or any item that has a Shenandoah identification tag. The Shenandoah Salvage Co.’s success depends on the generosity of individuals who have things to donate, as well as the thriftiness of shoppers who appreciate that free is good for them and re-using is good for the environment.

Anyone wishing to donate items to the shop between now and Jan. 14, should contact its manager, Assistant Director of Student Engagement/Outdoor Experiences & Summer Programs Stacey Keenan,  at skeenan@su.edu. Keenan is happy to make arrangements to receive merchandise for the Shenandoah Salvage Co.
