THREE PHARMACY FACULTY MEMBERS RECEIVE PFIZER GRANT

Pharmacy faculty members Dawn Havrda, Michelle Rager and Emily Scopelliti recently applied for and received a Pfizer medical education grant of $411,545. Their 19-month project promotes and increases pneumococcal vaccinations among adults over age 65 and high-risk patients ages two to 64. RealCME, an educational technology company, and RxAlly, and alliance of 22,000 pharmacies nationwide, will partner with Shenandoah University on the project.
