Shenandoah University wants everyone on campus to be as prepared and informed as possible. The newest addition to the university’s overall safety program is the LiveSafe app. Ideally, the free app will be downloaded and used by all employees and students who have smartphones.

• Go to the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android).

• Select “Shenandoah University.”

• Enter your name and contact information.

• Use the app to stay safer anywhere you go.

With the free LiveSafe app, you are connected with Shenandoah’s Department of Public Safety (DPS) 24/7. You can send text messages, images, video and audio messages to DPS and reach a DPS officer any time day or night.

You can report – anonymously if you prefer – suspicious or dangerous activity, vandalism, theft, illegal drug and alcohol use, hazing/bullying, mental health concerns, noise disturbances and safety concerns. You can even have friends monitor your whereabouts as you travel on foot or by car.

You have quick access to important numbers and information. You can use its map to see what incidents have occurred around campus.
