Department of Public Safety Director Robin Ebersole has spoken with a number of business owners in downtown Winchester regarding parking. The message is simple: Do not park in reserved business spaces anywhere in the downtown.
According to business owners, members of the Shenandoah community seem to ignore “reserved parking” signs most often. Chief Ebersole added, “Any vehicle parked in a reserved parking location without permission will be towed away and stored at the vehicle owner’s expense, which can run into hundreds of dollars. Impound lots won’t release a vehicle until the bill is paid in full.”
