A new collaboration between Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) and Shenandoah University has led to an articulation agreement that allows transfer students from LFCC to earn their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in five years.
The groundbreaking 2+2+1 program allows students to transition from an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in business administration to the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree and subsequently a M.B.A. degree — the latter two degrees spent in attendance at the Harry F. Byrd, Jr. School of Business.
Students who sign the letter of intent for the 2+2+1 program will receive a 20 percent reduction in the cost of graduate tuition. This program, along with a 4+1 fast-track option available to Shenandoah’s four-year B.B.A. students, launches in fall 2014.
