Partnership With Community Day 2014 will be here before you know it, so be sure to mark your calendar for Tuesday, March 25, and line up your community service project before the Monday, March 10 deadline.
During Partnership With Community Day, Shenandoah University students, faculty, staff, alumni and all other university community members reach out to the surrounding communities and dedicate their time in service to others.
University community members have already stepped forward to volunteer, and their projects include anything and everything from site cleanup and file maintenance to performing music and reading to students. So far, the sites include: Salvation Army, Habitat for Humanity, Compassionate Pharmacy, Round Hill Ruritan, John Kerr Elementary School, the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute and the Shenandoah Valley Discovery Museum.
