Senior linebacker Jajuan Johnson has been named to the Roanoke Times All-State football team in selections announced Sunday, Dec. 30, by the newspaper. Johnson, who was previously named first team All-ODAC, led Shenandoah with a program-record 107 tackles. This total included 55 solo stops, 11 tackles for loss and four sacks. Johnson registered double digit tackles in seven of the nine games he played in this past season and his 11.9 tackles per game led the ODAC.
Johnson is the one of 13 ODAC players to be named first team all-state with Washington and Lee University and Bridgewater College claiming the state player of the year honors on offense and defense, respectively. The team was selected by the Roanoke Times writers who cover college football in the commonwealth.
