The annual “Our Turn” summer fitness program offers faculty and staff an opportunity to exercise, learn ways to live a little better, and spend time with fellow Shenandoah employees. “Our Turn” is a diverse, cross-departmental, eight-week series of events and activities that promote a healthy lifestyle. This program begins Monday, June 3, and continues through Saturday, July 27. Staff and faculty who embody the Shenandoah brand personality – high energy, inviting, creative, principled – will facilitate cross-departmental relationships.
Registration is now through Saturday, June 1. Simply send an email to [email protected], and you’ll be entered into the “Our Turn” system. Then, check your email for an invitation from [email protected] called “Our Turn Fitness & Wellness Program 2013.” Open the email invitation, and click on the Google document at the bottom left of the page. Review the tabs at the bottom of the Google document. This is where you’ll find the event schedule and team summary. Find your team and teammates listed in the team summary tab. Look for your own personal tab. This is where you will track your earned “stars” (points). Although you will be able to review everyone’s progress, you can only update your own tab. When you scroll over the top row of categories in your tab, comments and notes will pop up to clarify how to earn more stars. Everything you submit in your personal tab will be accumulated into the team summary tab. Everything everyone submits is based on the honor system.
