  • Design an individualized program of study.  The Byrd School offers an individualized BBA curriculum.  You combine core courses in the business disciplines with electives that will customize your own program of study.  You may want to specialize in accounting, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, information systems and computer technology, international business, management, and marketing, or you may want to structure your program with courses outside the Byrd School.  The choice is yours as you work with your faculty mentor.  We will take your academic and career goals and help you build your own special program of study.  See above for suggested 4-year plan for the different concentrations.

  • Explore the world through innovative global initiatives and study-abroad opportunities.  The Global Experiential Learning Program (GEL) provides students with the opportunity to study and travel abroad in faculty-guided, credit-bearing educational experiences, GEL destinations change each year, but previously have included Russia, China Spain, Ireland, Thailand, England, France, Argentina, and Chile.
