18 Credit Hours
The Economics Minor enables students to conduct a systematic study of economics as part of their undergraduate education and/or prepare themselves for graduate studies in economics, law, public administration or business. This program is not directed only at business majors. It can be a valuable complement to other majors such as Political Science, Sociology, Public
Administration, Pre-Law Studies, or Mass-Communications. If students are interested in graduate studies in economics, it is strongly recommended that they take additional course work in Calculus and Statistics.
All courses are three credit-hour courses:
| Course | Title |
| EC 211 | Principles of Macroeconomics |
| EC 212 | Principles of Microeconomics |
| EC 311 | Intermediate Macroeconomics |
| EC 312 | Intermediate Microeconomics |
| EC 450 | International Economics |
| 1 other 3 credit 300/400 level Economics course |
