Regulations Any student who parks a
motor vehicle on campus must be registered with
the University. Students must register at the
Business Office no later than 4 p.m. of the fifth
business day after classes start for the semester.
A student who brings a motor vehicle on campus
during a semester, should go to the Business
Office immediately to register their motor
vehicle.
A
fee of $115.00 is charged for a parking permit.
Commuter students are issued a Blue parking permit and residential
(living in campus housing) students are
issued a Red parking permit.
Parking
permits for the 2007-08 school year are valid
9/1/07 - 8/31/08. If a student is planning to
park a motor vehicle on campus after the start of
a semester, they should purchase the appropriate
parking permit before bringing the vehicle on
campus.
Parking
permits are to be hung from the rear-view mirror
with the numbered side facing outward. Parking
permits must be properly displayed and visible
from the outside of the vehicle.
Vehicles
must be parked in the assigned lots. Lots are
designated by color coding that matches the
permit color. Blue permits park in blue
designated lots, Red permits park in red
designated lots. Parking lots may be designated
for only one color parking permit, such as Blue
only, or the parking lot may be designated for
multiple colors, such as Blue and Red. It is the
student's responsibility to park in the proper
parking lot. Only visitors may park in spaces
designated for visitors. Students, faculty
and staff may not use spaces designated for
visitors.
