Undergraduate degrees in Music Performance

Undergraduate students in Music Performance build upon the foundations of musicianship, which include intensive coursework and training in music theory, music literature and instrument specific coursework. As performance skills develop and mature, opportunities exist for solo and chamber music performance, as well as a student concerto competition, which results in a performance with the Shenandoah University Symphony Orchestra. Upon completion of an undergraduate degree in music performance, many students pursue graduate study at some of the leading music institutions in the country.
