Graduate Degrees in Collaborative Piano

Students in the Master of Music in Collaborative Piano program major in applied accompanying and give two accompanying recitals. Supplemental courses include bibliography and research, advanced analysis, music literature and free electives.

  • Dance Accompanying Applicants: Ten minutes of music in contrasting styles. Applicant must demonstrate proficiency in sightreading and/or improvisation and may be asked to accompany a dance technique class.
  • Collaborative Piano Applicants: One vocal and one instrumental accompaniment. Applicant is expected to supply performers. Please contact Conservatory Admissions if other arrangements are needed.
