Degree Program Options

  The program of study is a carefully arranged progression of experiences which are designed to develop the student's musical and technical potential. Private lessons and classes, along with ensemble participation, recital attendance, listening assignments, studio classes and the many other musical experiences offered at the Conservatory all contribute to the student's education.  

The classical guitarist has a number of degree options at Shenandoah. Guitarist interested in pursuing degrees in jazz guitar should go to the Jazz Studies area of this site.
