Conservatory Admissions

  Request information

Shenandoah Conservatory offers intense, specialized, professional training in music, theatre, and dance. Students work with a faculty of active professionals as they develop artistically and intellectually for careers in the performing arts. Programs of study lead to over thirty degrees at the undergraduate and graduate levels..

Although Shenandoah University follows a rolling admissions process (decisions are made when applicants’ files are complete rather than on a fixed date), students are strongly advised to complete all application materials by the end of December and financial aid paperwork by the end of January.

All applicants to Shenandoah Conservatory must complete an audition. Applicants are strongly recommended to complete their audition by February in order to be considered for talent scholarships. Applicants are also strongly encouraged to complete the paperwork materials (application, official transcript, SAT scores and recommendation) prior to the audition
