The Jazz Guitar Ensemble consists of six to eight guitars with rhythm section, performing in the style of "Supersax." The group serves as a laboratory where guitarists can improve their reading skills, but is also a serious performing ensemble. The repertoire allows the students to work on an ensemble blend with single line playing, providing the students with a unique experience for guitarists. The performers are encouraged to provide arrangements. The group performs throughout the semester on and off campus. One credit.
