Graduate String Quartet Program

Pursue quartet studies with members of the Audubon Quartet

The program culminates in an Artist Diploma (baccalaureate or post master’s level)

Two-year residency required.

Weekly quartet coachings by members of the Audubon Quartet.

Full tuition expenses plus yearly stipend of $1,000 per quartet member.


The selected quartets will pursue quartet studies with Shenandoah Conservatory Audubon Quartet members. Students present one full performance every semester of their two-year required residency. In addition, the quartet will participate and serve as the core for the Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra, will participate in recruitment activities by the Conservatory and will represent the university in fund-raising and community activities.
