Galligan-Stierle

Aaron Galligan-Stierle is currently playing Smee in the Regional Premiere of “Peter and the Starcatcher” and Sir Evelyn in “Anything Goes” at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. He is also Assistant Director for the MainStage production of “Twelve Angry Men”  and will be directing the new play “Adam and Yoshi” as part of Utah Shakespeare’s New Play Project. This fall, Aaron will work as Associate Director for the upcoming“Grinch” National Tour. He recently completed a year and a half performing in The Phantom of the Opera(Monsieur Andre) on Broadway. His other Broadway credits include: Ragtime (Henry Ford)and Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas (Papa Who). He performed in the International tour of Cinderella starring Lea Salonga. Regional credits include: Utah Shakespeare Festival (5 seasons including Merchant of Venice, 39 Steps, Forever Plaid, Midsummer Night’s Dream, Room Service, Merry Wives of Windsor, Camelot, My Fair Lady),Papermill Playhouse and TUTS (Curtains), Westport Country Playhouse (She Loves Me), Pennsylvania Center Stage (Broadway Bound, Tempest) Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival (Taming of the Shrew), and many more. 4 seasons at Shenandoah Summer Music Theater (highlights include Action in West Side Story, Dickon in The Secret Garden, and Tom in No, No, Nannette). While at Shenandoah University favorite roles include Franklin Shepard inMerrily We Roll Along, Captain Corcoran in HMS Pinafore, and Icabod Crane in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.He is a faculty for the Musical Theater Division at the NY Film Academy as well as a freelance director and audition coach.
