PSC Educational Administration

Professional Studies Certificate in Educational Administration and Supervision

The Professional Studies Certificate (PSC) for Licensure in Administration and Supervision serves students who already hold a master's degree from an accredited institution of higher education and want to obtain Virginia licensure in School Administration and Supervision without seeking Shenandoah's MSED in Administration degree. Students completing the requirements for the PSC Program in Administration will meet the Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) approved program requirements for licensure. In addition to completion of the program, the VDOE also requires classroom teaching experience and a passing score on the School Leaders Licensure Assessment (SLLA).

For more information regarding the program, please contact the program head, Dr. Larry W. Brooks, at lbrooks@su.edu.
