Baccalaureate Service Celebrate our Grads at the Baccalaureate Service! Shenandoah’s Baccalaureate, one of the Commencement events, is special because we rely heavily on students to lead us and draw from many faith and philosophical traditions. While it comes from a Christian tradition, our Baccalaureate is an opportunity for all students and their families and friends — the whole Shenandoah community, really — to pause and reflect meaningfully on their time with us amidst the whirlwind that is graduation.
