Wednesday, February 5th from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm

Make Paper Bead Bracelets from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Brandt Student Center main hallway. In many African cultures, beads play a huge part in women’s lives. Meanings behind African beads include pride, beauty, culture, power and identity. In honor of Black History Month, Shenandoah students can craft bracelets from beads made from magazine paper and small beads from craft stores.
