Chili & Cornbread Cook-Off Entry Form Deadline

Chili & Cornbread Cook-Off Entry Form Deadline is 5 p.m. today. The business fraternity Alpha Kappa Psi is hosting its First-Ever Chili & Cornbread Cook-off on Thursday, Oct. 30, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. in the Brandt Student Center, Ferrari Room. Individuals and groups (students, employees, student clubs, administrative offices, etc.) are invited to cook. It’s $3 to enter a pan of cornbread, $5 to enter a pot of chili or $7 to enter both – a devilishly good deal. Drinks, candy and fun are also included!

Fall into Panera Bread

Fall into Panera Bread, a Christian Pharmacist Fellowship International (CPFI) fund-raising event is from 4 to 8 p.m. at Panera Bread (43670 Greenway Corporate Drive, Ashburn), near the Northern Virginia Campus. Turn on the Lights! Fashion Show begins at 6 p.m. at Bell’s Fine Clothing (122 N. Loudoun St., downtown Winchester). This fashion show supports The Laurel Center’s quest to “Turn on the Light,” during National Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Enjoy live modeling from members of Shenandoah University’s Alpha Kappa Psi – Psi Delta chapter and food by Violino Italian Restaurant. 10% of sales will be donated to The Laurel Center. Sixth Annual Carnival for a Cause

Sixth Annual Carnival for a Cause, hosted by Phi Delta Chi Pharmaceutical Fraternity and benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, is from 5 to 8:30 p.m. in the Health Professions Building cafeteria.
