Course Design Academy

The Center for Teaching and Learning is offering a Course Design Academy for new faculty. Experienced faculty are also invited to join to serve as mentors and perhaps revise their own classes as well. This is intended to be a very practical workshop that will cover curriculum construction, “scaffolding” material, “flipped” classes, use of technology, and strategies to achieve deeper learning. There will be time during the sessions to work on syllabi and course materials.  This is a two-day workshop starting on 8/11/14 and ending on 8/12/14.  Brandt Student Center 118.
