The Shenandoah Community Chorus

The Shenandoah Community Chorus performs at 5 p.m. in the Smith Library Plaza as part of the Wounded Warrior Project fundraising concert sponsored by the Shenandoah University Music Therapy Association. The Shenandoah Community Chorus is comprised of students, faculty and staff who enjoy the excitement and beauty of making music together. Julian Lage & Chris Eldridge

Julian Lage & Chris Eldridge perform at the Bright Box (15 N. Loudoun St., downtown Winchester). With Lage’s background in modern jazz and new music, and Eldridge’s deep relationship with bluegrass, as well as being a member of the critically-acclaimed band, Punch Brothers, this guitar duo explores the worlds of improvisation, spontaneous composition and virtuosic refinement. “Cendrillon (Cinderella),” the main stage opera, is presented at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Ohrstrom-Bryant Theatre. The Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra serves as the pit orchestra. Tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for senior citizens and $10 for non-SU students.
