SOAR Outdoor Office Hours

SOAR Outdoor Office Hours – when you get to meet Alice Morgan – are from noon to 5 p.m. in the campus quad, somewhere near the big “SU.” Morgan, the new Shenandoah Outdoor & Adventure Recreation (SOAR) coordinator and outdoor education instructor, will set up her office outside today, so stop by and say hello. Or, bring your hammock or slack line, and hang out with her for a while. Morgan wants to learn what outdoor adventures interest students – and “outdoor” means anything from a comfortable stroll to a physically demanding adventure. Students can also sign up for fall semester trips to the State Arboretum of Virginia, Aerial Forest Adventure Park at Harpers Ferry, Bears Den, Luray Caverns and more. DMV2Go Mobile Unit will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parking lot next to the Brandt Student Center (across from Armstrong Hall). All students and employees can apply for or renew I.D. cards and drivers’ licenses; take road and knowledge tests; obtain vehicle titles, license plates, decals and transcripts; order disabled parking placards; update DMV records and much more.
