Shenandoah Conservatory Symphony Orchestra presents “S.O.S. Venezuela Concert” at 8 p.m. in Armstrong Concert Hall. S.O.S. Student Homecoming Dancebegins at 10 p.m. at the Bright Box Theater (15 N. Loudoun St., third floor, downtown Winchester). Tickets are $5 per SU student, $10 non-Shenandoah student, and space is limited. Tickets are on sale in the Brandt Student Center between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and 5 and 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, Oct. 20 to 24 – or until tickets are sold out. Students 21 and older receive 2 drink tickets at the dance entrance (included in the $5 ticket price). Additionally, beer is available for $3, wine is $4 and mixed drinks are $5 each. Saturday night, shuttle vans will take students from the Brandt Student Center main entrance to Shenandoah’s Feltner Building on Loudoun Street, running continuously from 8 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. so you can first enjoy a dinner at one of the wonderful restaurants downtown.
