Conservatory Professional Highlights:
Robyn Hart Schroth also serves as director of the Blue Ridge Junior Cotillion. In 1992, she received a Shenandoah Arts Council Artie Award in recognition of her outstanding leadership in promoting dance as an art form throughout the Shenandoah Valley as a teacher, performer and choreographer. She resides in Winchester with her husband, John, and two daughters, Anne Walker and Kassie.
She developed the Conservatory’s dance program, and for eleven years she served as chair of the Dance Division. She has choreographed more than 70 musical theatre productions of the academic year theatre season and the Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre. For the past six years she has served as choreographer for the Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival’s Royal Command Performance featuring the John Handley High School Chorus. Her work with this choir was honored with the award of best show choir at Disney’s Magic Music Days 2002.
Robyn Hart Schroth teaches Creative Movement for Children, Teaching Techniques, Social Dance Styles, Ballet and Modern Dance. As a member of Shenandoah Conservatory Arts Academy faculty, she has been an instructor of children’s dance for over twenty-five years and currently serves as Coordinator of its Dance program for children.
