| (3.) Excel | ||
| (4.) Excel (Make Graphs) | ||
| (5.) Microsoft Word (Write Report) |

Data Collection Lesson One
The Objective of this lesson is designed to inform students about how to choose a topic for data collection, how to produce a Tally Sheet, and display the data collected. After this lesson the students shall be able to construct a Tally Sheet using collected data.
The Graph Lesson Two
The Objective of this lesson is to teach students about making a bar graph. After this lesson the students shall be able to design and construct a bar graph designed to illustrate the collected data from lesson one. The design of the bar graph will demonstrate the student's knowledge of the five parts of a bar graph.
Excel Lesson Three
The Objective of this lesson is to teach students about using Excel. The students will be able to open Excel, move the cursor to desired cells, input their collected data from their tally sheet into appropriate cells.
Excel Make Graphs Lesson 4
The Objective of this lesson is to teach students about using Excel to make graphs. After this lesson the students will be able to open Excel, open the graph program within Excel, and design a bar graph that fits the needs of their collected data. The students will use their input information from lesson 3 to make their bar graph, labeling the five parts of a bar graph, changing font size, and word axis where needed.
Microsoft Word Write Report Lesson 5
The Objective of this lesson is to teach students about using Microsoft Word and Excel. Graphs will be copied from Excel and pasted into Microsoft Word. After this lesson the students will be able to open Excel, and open Microsoft Word. The graphs made in Excel will be copied and pasted into Microsoft Word. A report will be written using Microsoft Word discussing (1) data collection, (2) Graphs, (3) Excel, (4) using Excel to make graphs, and (5) using Microsoft Word. In the report the students will also discuss coping and pasting information.
