Welcome
. . . and thank you for visiting the home page of the Environmental Studies Program at Shenandoah University. This website and its links* will introduce you to our academic offerings, community outreach activities, and research projects.
Although lectures and discussions are certainly important here, learning isn't confined to the classroom or laboratory. We provide practical knowledge and research experience in the laboratory, field, campus and community to help prepare our graduates for the challenges they'll face after graduation.
The Environmental Studies Program
also serves the campus, local community, and region. Students and faculty
assist with public forums on environmental issues, they conduct focused research,
and they provide educational information on matters of environmental concern.
