The Presidential Scholarship is a highly selective, limited scholarship available to incoming freshmen. In order to be considered, a student must have a minimum high school GPA of 3.8 and a score of 1200 on the SAT. Scholastic and community activities are also considered in the evaluation process. Recipients receive $16,000 annually for four years, if students maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and enroll in at least 12 credit hours a semester. Students cannot receive both a Presidential Scholarship and an Academic Scholarship. No additional application is required to apply; eligibility is determined based upon a student’s application for admission to the university.
